Privacy Policy

B-K Tool

Effective date: October 6, 2026

B-K Tool ("we," "us," or "our") provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we handle personal information collected through this website (the "Site"), requests for information or quotations, and job applications submitted through the Site.

The Site describes our industrial automation, robotics integration, engineering, manufacturing, finishing, assembly, and equipment service capabilities. This Policy covers personal information about visitors, business contacts, and applicants. Separate notices or agreements may apply to employment records, customer projects, or other activities outside this scope.

1 Information you provide

Contact inquiries. Our general inquiry forms request your first and last name, email address, telephone number, and message. We also receive information you choose to provide when you contact us about our services or an existing inquiry.

Quote requests. Our quote form requests your first and last name, email address, telephone number, company name, ZIP code, and a description of what you need quoted. Your message may contain project requirements, business contact information, and other details you choose to share.

Job applications. Our application forms request your first and last name, email address, telephone number, street address, city, state, ZIP code, and a summary of your experience, training, qualifications, and skills. The forms also ask whether you are a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States, and ask about specified criminal convictions and related dates, offenses, and dispositions. We handle those responses for recruitment and employment eligibility purposes only as permitted by applicable law.

Please provide only information relevant to your inquiry or application. Do not include Social Security numbers, financial account details, identity documents, medical information, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information. Before sending confidential drawings, proprietary process details, or restricted technical data, contact us to arrange an appropriate method of delivery and any needed confidentiality terms.

2 Information collected through the Site

Source page. Our forms include a field that records the full address of the page from which you submit the form. This can include query parameters or other information contained in that address and helps identify the relevant inquiry or job listing.

Technical information. When your browser requests pages, fonts, scripts, or other Site resources, hosting and technology providers receive technical information needed to deliver those resources, such as your IP address and browser request details. Security tools also process signals used to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. See Section 4 for the providers used on the Site.

3 How we use personal information

We use information associated with your inquiry to respond, discuss your project, evaluate requirements, prepare or follow up on a quotation, and communicate about requested services. We use applicant information to review qualifications, communicate about a position, and manage the recruitment process.

We also use information as necessary to operate and maintain the Site, address technical problems, detect spam and abuse, protect our systems and legal rights, maintain appropriate business records, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

4 Website providers and cookies

Webflow. The Site uses Webflow hosting, website assets, and Webflow-form infrastructure. These services support page delivery and form functionality. Information about Webflow’s handling of personal information is available at https://webflow.com/legal/privacy.

Cloudflare Turnstile. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile for protection against spam and automated abuse. Turnstile processes technical signals, including IP address and browser or device characteristics, to perform security checks. This security processing is distinct from the information you enter into the form. See https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy/.

Fonts and content delivery. The Site loads Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts through external services, as well as scripts and assets from content delivery networks. Your browser connects to those providers to retrieve resources, which discloses technical request information such as your IP address. Adobe’s font-service notice is available at https://www.adobe.com/privacy/policies/adobe-fonts.html; Google’s privacy information is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Cookies and similar technologies may be used by website features and service providers to support functionality and security. Third-party resource requests can disclose technical information even when they do not set a cookie. The providers’ privacy notices explain their processing.

You can use browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect form submission or other Site functions. Browser settings do not prevent every type of technical information from being transmitted.

5 When information is disclosed

We disclose information to service providers that support the functions described in this Policy, including website hosting, form processing, communications, and technical support. We share information for the purposes described in this Policy. Providers may also process certain technical information under their own privacy notices.

Applicant information is used by personnel involved in recruitment and, where applicable, providers supporting that process. An online application does not itself authorize a third-party background check. Any separate authorization or notice required by law must be provided through the applicable recruitment process.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a lawful government request; protect people, systems, or legal rights; investigate fraud or misuse; or obtain professional advice. If we undergo a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business, relevant information may be disclosed to participants and advisers, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections. We may also disclose information at your direction.

6 Retention and security

We retain personal information for the period needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, taking into account the status of an inquiry, project, or application; applicable recordkeeping requirements; and the need to establish or defend legal claims. Information subject to a legal preservation requirement may be retained longer.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please contact us by telephone before sending material that requires special protection.

7 Processing locations

B-K Tool is located in Ohio, United States. Information submitted to the Site is handled in connection with our U.S. business operations. Our technology providers may process information in other locations.

8 Your choices and privacy requests

You may choose not to submit a form. If you do not provide information needed to respond to an inquiry or evaluate an application, we may be unable to complete that request. You can contact us to ask about your information or request a correction.

Depending on your location and the law that applies to our processing, you may have rights to request access to or a copy of personal information, correction, deletion, or portability; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on it; or opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

To make a request, use the contact details in Section 11. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and, where relevant, an authorized agent’s authority. Please do not send identity documents or sensitive information unless we ask for them through an appropriate channel. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Where applicable law gives you a right to appeal a privacy decision, contact us using the same details and state that you are appealing. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant privacy regulator.

9 External links and children

The Site links to third-party websites, including social media pages. When you follow a link or interact with another service, its own privacy practices apply. We do not control the information that other websites collect through their own services.

The Site is intended for business inquiries and people seeking employment opportunities. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and address the information as required by law.

10 Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as our Site or practices change. The revised Policy will be posted with an updated effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law. Changes do not authorize uses of previously collected information that are inconsistent with applicable law.
